Brooke Shields has revealed in a new interview that she still frequently shares a bed with her adult daughters.
The 58-year-old shared that she and her daughters Rowan, 20, and Grier, 18, still sleep in the same bed from time to time – particularly when their father is out of town.
The Endless Love star said on The Jess Cagle Show: ‘My younger daughter just turned 18. You know, the minute my husband is on any type of work trip or gone or something, you know, they still sleep in the bed with me.’
Although parents and children co-sleeping in adulthood may be controversial to some, the actress spoke fondly about her ‘babies’, revealing that they they have a wholesome time watching films together.
‘We still watch rom-coms. They’re my babies and they will never not be.’
The actress’ husband and her children’s father is television writer Chris Henchy, who Brooke married back in 2001 after they met through mutual friends in 1999.
Their daughters were born in 2003 and 2006 and were raised in Greenwich Village in New York City.

Brooke added that soon they will both be out of the house and at university, something she isn’t looking forward to at all.
‘I’ve been avoiding thinking of it because people will say to me, “Oh, you’re gonna be so relieved,” and I just don’t see it happening,’ she said.
She then joked that she was lucky that New York was so expensive, as it meant that her daughters would be forced to come back to their family home.
‘I don’t see it happening. I was like, “Well, they’re still gonna come back,” and by the way, the cost of just living in this city is so prohibitive anyways that it may work in my favour.’

Brooke, who is set to star in Netflix’s Mother of the Bride, has often spoken about her close relationship with her children.
At the 2023 New York premiere of her documentary about her life, Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields, she spoke about how proud she was of their confidence.
‘They are confident and free. They’re confident, they’re being listened to, I’m proud of them speaking their mind,’ the actress told People. ‘They are young women who are already beginning to find their own agencies. It took me until practically today.’
In contrast, Brooke has spoken about her toxic relationship with her own mother who she described as ‘needy and weird’ and ‘in love’ with her.
She still says she struggles to understand why her mother let her pose naked aged 10 and play prostitute aged 11 and has a lot of trauma from her child acting career.
