I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! viewers are less than impressed after it was teased Olympian Raygun may be joining the line-up.

The Australian series is currently dropping clues as to which celebrities will be heading into the jungle for the upcoming season of the spin-off.

Last year’s campmates included Love Island star Callum Hole, former Strictly Come Dancing pro Tristan MacManus and Malcolm in the Middle’s Frankie Muniz.

This week the show has released a list teasing the 10 stars who had signed up for the show, however one is already causing controversy.

Posting on social media, the show explained one would be a ‘headline-grabbing Olympian has a ticket to the African wilds!’

A voice over also shared: ‘They love freestyle…but will the jungle break them?’

Immediately guessing the star was none other than the Australian breakdancer, whose performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics went viral, several viewers threatened to now boycott the reality series.

‘I’m boycotting the show if it’s Raygun,’ Fran commented on the Instagram post.

‘Please NOT the “breakdancer”. Don’t make me boycott for the first time ever. Noooooo!’ Betsy shared.

‘I will not watch if Raygun goes into the jungle,’ Sarah added.

Meanwhile Michelle went so far as to say: ‘I’d rather watch paint dry than Raygun on TV…what on earth are the producers thinking.’

Even Reese threatened to ‘vote for her in every single Bushtucker Trial’.

Raygun – real name Rachael Gunn – was first rumoured to be joining the reality show a few months ago, with a source saying she would be he ‘ideal campmate’.

‘The public will want to hear her story in the jungle. Love her or loathe her, she has everyone talking,’ they told New Idea magazine.

After her truly unique performance at the Olympics, which featured her hopping around like a kangaroo and writhing around on the floor like a snake, Raygun failed to pick up any points from the judges.

Although she did face backlash from some, she was declared a ‘national icon’ by others, with her routine seeing her become an overnight sensation.

Addressing the hate she received, Raygun said it had been ‘pretty devastating’.

If she does appear on I’m A Celebrity, it would be a backflip on comments she previously made asserting she had no interest in reality TV.

Speaking on 101.9 The Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick radio show Raygun said she didn’t think it would be a ‘good fit’.

‘I have a very memeable face as we’ve seen. There’s been some amazing memes that have come out and I don’t think reality TV is the space for me,’ she said.

‘I’m looking to focus on things where I can really bring joy and to try and encourage people to be creative.’

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me out of Here! is set to premiere in January on Channel Ten in Australia.
