- Alex Scott was caught using contraband salt on I’m A Celeb
- Her punishment will be revealed to campmates later tonight after the rule-breaking
- Viewers, and hosts Ant and Dec, were unimpressed by the incident
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! bosses have acted swiftly after one of the stars was spotted with ‘contraband’ in camp.
On Sunday night’s episode, Alex Scott appeared to shake salt onto some food after she and Jack Osbourne were selected as cooks after Angry Ginge won 10 stars.
Ant and Dec picked up on the indiscretion just before they went into camp, and viewers were calling for her to be punished for the blatant rule breaking.
Now, Metro has been told that I’m A Celeb bosses are set to deliver a bombshell to campmates – who have also been forced to evacuate the area due to safety fears earlier today – in tonight’s episode.

The stars will be informed that there’s contraband in camp and they’ve lost a star won by Aitch in the Bushtucker Trial, and a ‘contraband amnesty’ will then take place.
Campmates will get the chance to surrender all contraband without further punishment, and dinner can then be delivered once everyone has owned up.
Alex was seen pulling out sachets of salt to add some seasoning as she prepped vegetables and rice while Jack was boiling crocodile feet for their fellow celebs.
‘Jack you have fun with the crocodile toes and all of that section and just give me the mushrooms, potatoes and kale,’ she said. ‘I’ll add some flavours in. I know people are going to be happy.’
Viewers were baffled by her having salt in camp, and immediately called on her to be punished for the mishap.
‘How did she sneak in salt? Her punishment should be she has to do trial,’ wrote one fan, as another ranted: ‘How did she get salt or seasoning into the camp? And how do they not know it’s not allowed?’
While a third viewer added: ‘Alex only wanted to do the cooking, so she could put some salt on it.’
Ant and Dec were also unimpressed, the in their link before they headed into camp, they called out Alex’s mistake.
Ant said: ‘Was that a bit of seasoning Alex?’
‘I think it was, I think it was contraband,’ Dec teased. ‘What’s going to happen? Watch this space.’
With the punishment now revealed, we don’t have long to wait to find out how the rest of the camp will react to being a star down.
I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
