Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Jordan North cancelled a gig on Sunday after being ‘floored’ by illness.
The radio DJ, 34, took to Instagram to share his apologies as he revealed his sickness just hours before his commitment at the Young Farmers DIY AGM at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
‘So sorry to all the young farmers at Blackpool tonight but I’ve had to cancel my DJ set,’ he posted in a statement on the social media platform on Sunday evening.
‘I hate cancelling gigs but I’m in bed with a suspected bout of tonsillitis and it’s absolutely floored me,’ Jordan explained.
He then added a photo of himself in bed with his duvet pulled up to his chin and a gutted expression on his face.
‘What a way to spend a bank holiday! Was proper looking forward to that gig too! So sorry,’ he wrote in the caption.

Reality star Jordan, who came runner-up to Giovanna Fletcher on the ITV show in 2020, left the BBC after a decade earlier this year in a major move.
Last month, he replaced Roman Kemp on Capital FM’s breakfast show while his former employer replaced on him on the Radio 1 drivetime show with Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing, who presents alongside Vick Hope and Katie Thistleton.
Jordan also presented his first documentary in March, confronting the hidden dangers behind his own habit of vaping for BBC Three.

He’s the latest celebrity to be forced to miss a gig, after singer Olly Murs had to pull out of supporting Take That as their opening act for a Glasgow show on Friday at the OVO Hydro.
The new dad’s absence was blamed on unforeseen transport complications, but thankfully, there was a replacement at hand, with local singer and guitarist Daniel Rooney finding himself supporting the boyband instead in a star-making moment.
Daniel was singing in a local hotel bar just 30 minutes before the show and took to the stage to save the day.
