Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo delighted fans by announcing they’re expecting their first child together.
The Made in Chelsea couple, who have been together since 2019, shared a video of their scan and were flooded with well wishes after announcing the happy news.
Sophie, 30, and Jamie, 36, are now preparing to move into their first family property in London together after buying their ‘forever home’ and overseeing extensive renovations on it.
The NewlyWeds hosts have been documenting the process with fans and sharing glimpses into the building works on their vlog, The Laings.
Sharing the happy news of their purchase with the Times in May 2024, Jamie revealed: ‘We’ve been renting a two-bedroom apartment in Notting Hill for three years. I previously owned an apartment in Chelsea, but I found Chelsea boring.
‘We also needed to move out because the flat had a history – Sophie didn’t like the fact my ex-girlfriends had lived there.’

The couple bought the huge property last year and have been busy overhauling it, including working with a designer to create their perfect kitchen complete with the latest state-of-the-art appliances.
But it turns out the renovation hasn’t been as easy as expected, with Jamie listing a number of issues they’ve encountered along the way.
‘Turns out, when you renovate a house, there is always something to do with rotting windows, or there’s a leak in the roof, or you’ve got to remove the shed out of the back or mice chewing through the electrics,’ he joked.
‘Or our contractor needs more money!’
Finding the property wasn’t easy either, with Sophie revealing she was ‘desperate’ to settle down in a quiet area with her husband.
The presenter told MailOnline: ‘We are desperately looking to move into our family home.

‘We are on the hunt… we are looking high and looking low. We can’t find anything right now but we are actively looking, which is really exciting. Jamie and I are looking everywhere, we have no set place… it’s a tough market out there.
‘I want a bit of greenery, I want it to be a bit more residential, we’re in a bit of a busy, party area right now and I want to move to where there’s greenery around me and it’s quiet and people are walking their dogs around me.’
She added: ‘You do have to think about the future… I am getting excited about it, but nothing has been found yet.’
Jamie and Sophie revealed last year that they’ll be transforming their new basement into a media room, and their new garden will be fully landscaped to include plenty of roses as well as elderflower and lavender plants.
It comes after the duo, who rose to fame on Made in Chelsea, shared a video of their scan on Instagram to reveal their exciting pregnancy news.
Speculation about the couple had been at an all-time high as their successful podcast made way for them to step into separate radio presenter positions.
