Jennifer Aniston, yes, the “Friends” style icon and “The Morning Show” star, is in what we’re calling her “double-date era.” She’s recently been turning low-key dinner nights into headline gold, and we couldn’t be more excited for her! This time, she and her new boyfriend, Jim Curtis, joined longtime friend Courteney Cox and her partner, Johnny McDaid, for dinner at Nobu in Malibu. And of course, the paparazzi caught everything!

On Monday, August 18, the foursome emerged from Nobu looking effortlessly coordinated and totally content. Aniston was casually chic in blue, wearing a slate-blue belted jacket layered over a white tee and jeans, accessorized with thin-frame glasses and a beige crossbody purse. Not fussy, just stylish in real life. Curtis played the laid-back partner to a T with a gray T-shirt under a dark-wash denim button-down and jeans. Swoon alert! It aligned perfectly with Jen’s vibe without narrating the scene.

Then there’s Cox, who was rocking a denim jacket over navy satin trousers, complete with layered necklaces and that signature messy bun. McDaid, on the other hand, matched in monochrome navy, rounding out the perfect squad goals quartet.

This wasn’t just a random night out. Aniston and Cox have been publicly cracking us up for over a decade, most recently with an Instagram selfie that doubled as a cute product promo. Cox posted, “We look so cute next to each other …. so do they 😉♥️” with a photo of their shower-brand goodies side by side. Subtle and smart, we love it.

Hypnotherapist Boyfriend = New Chapter?

Curtis isn’t a flashy actor or a gossip headline; this time, Aniston went the other way. According to sources, he’s a hypnotherapist, author, and wellness coach. Apparently, Aniston met him through mutual friends after discovering his self-help work. Since then? Casual dating, and vacation time of course, but full of that “right-fit” energy. A source told People, “They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work… Jen’s in a very good place right now—grounded, fulfilled and very happy.” 

Still, he’s pretty active when it comes to social media, especially interacting with those who are interested in his field. In one Instagram post, he encourages his followers to trust themselves and their path. “When you’re about to start something new, face a challenge, or when doubt begins to creep in,” he wrote on Instagram. “Speak it slowly, breathe deeply, and feel each word landing in your body. The more you repeat it, the more your mind and energy align with its truth.” 

Look, we’re not saying this is the start of a new rom-com plotline, but it sure does feel like it. Aniston’s relationship is breezy and bond-based, not tabloid drama. The double dates? Instagram selfies with Quaker-level product placement? It’s all quiet confidence.

She’s not hiding; rather, she’s just in a chapter of contentment and companionship.
