As far as wild celebrity meeting stories go, being caught dogging by Jeremy Clarkson has got to be up there.

The Clarkson’s Farm host, 66, has opened up about how he confronted a teen engaged in a sex act on his property, and the surprising response he got.

According to the Top Gear host, he spotted a ‘suspicious-looking’ vehicle parked in a lane near woodland while he was ‘driving back from his local pub.’

At first, Jeremy said he suspected the duo in the car of flytipping, but it soon became clear what they were actually doing.

Writing for The Times, he said that he saw a man, around the age of 17, who was smoking ‘a doobie’ while ‘frantically’ performing a sex act.

Jeremy recalled that when he man realised he had been caught, he wound down the window of his car, and said ‘Oh my God, you’re Jeremy Clarkson.’

Then he added: ‘I rather wish we had met in different circumstances.’

‘We like to think this is mostly the preserve of suburban housewives in home country pampas places like Beaconsfield, but in the not too distant past, the car park at my remote Cotswolds pub was a hot spot as well,’ Jeremy said.

‘It’s even happened, on a smaller scale, on my farm.’

Clarkson previously spoke about his shock after learning his pub, The Farmer’s Dog, situated in the picturesque Cotswolds, had been a popular dogging site.

He took to social media back in 2024, when he took over the pub, to share his shock over finding a G-string in the greenery surrounding the establishment.

‘It was gentleman usually, who stopped off there once it had gone dark to do whatever it is gentlemen in woods do at night,’ he said at the time.

‘So I was a bit surprised to find a G-string there, because it suggested it had become more inclusive.

‘Alan the Builder, who features in the show, he’s very local to there he was very aware, although he is keen to point out he never visited himself.’

He added: ‘I’ve got CCTV now, so I can check it up on my phone.’

Last month, it seemed Jeremy had relaxed a very strict rule in his pub when former Prime Minister David Cameron was spotted enjoying a stout there – despite politicians being banned.

Speaking to The Sun, Cameron heaped praise on Jeremy, saying he has ‘done an amazing job at highlighting some of the issues in the countryside.’

‘He’s done more for farming than anyone else I can think of in recent years.’
