Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, has spilt the beans on a ‘serious conversation’ that needed to be had ahead of the new series of Calrkson’s Farm.
Journalist Lisa has featured heavily in the farming docuseries since it began.
Fans have loved watching the relationship between the Irish-born actress and the 63-year-old TV star over the last couple of years on their TV screens.
Speaking before the launch of series 3, Lisa was quizzed on the farm’s shop and how it can only sell items produced within 16 miles.
‘Charlie had to have a serious conversation with me and say that I could end up with a criminal record if I didn’t comply,’ she explained.
Lisa added: ‘It’s council regulations which I respect, especially after Charlie explained it to me in his clear and concise way.

As for what fans can expect in the upcoming episodes, she said: ‘When you first catch up with us again, the restaurant has been forced to close down by the local council. We’re allowed to keep our gourmet food van so that we can cook the meat from our animals, which is great, but it would have been nice to continue the restaurant because it’s a stunning spot.’
Lisa’s comments come after she candidly discussed marrying her former Top Gear host partner.
She recalled that the topic of proposing was brought up while the couple were out on a walk.
Jeremy reportedly told her that he had a ‘big surprise’ for her and after she asked if it was a proposal, he pretended not to hear and instead showed her a fallen willow tree bursting back into life.
After she followed up about the proposal, he said: ‘I’ll think about the proposal, ok? I’m not ready yet.’
Discussing the exchange, Hogan told The Sunday Times: ‘I just thought I might surprise him.’
When asked if she had taken advantage of February 29 for a leap year proposal, when women typically defy tradition by popping the question, she added: ‘Jeremy doesn’t think I proposed but he wasn’t wearing his hearing aids, so no one will know.’
Clarkson was previously briefly married to Alexandra James and later to Frances Cain, with who he has three children.
