The Jenny from the Block singer actually has her own doppelgänger, whose arrest photo has recently gone viral because of the striking resemblance between the two.

But now, she has found accidental fame — not because of the alleged crime she was booked for — but after her mugshot was shared online.

Safe to say, the comments section was immediately flooded with people comparing the likeness of the two, with some saying they literally look ‘identical.’

‘Separated at birth,’ one person said, alongside a laughing face emoji, as another echoed: ‘Identical. Couldn’t even tell.’

Others agreed, with a third saying: ‘Same person.’

However, not everyone was convinced Jennifer and Cyrena looked the same.

In between the ‘identical’ comments, a few people were confused by those who claimed to see the resemblance.

‘They look nothing alike,’ someone typed.

Others said the word doppelgänger is a bit of a ‘stretch,’ while the word ‘Nahhh,’ cropped up a few times, suggesting many also haven’t made the connection.

Right now, it’s unknown if Jennifer Lopez has actually seen the mugshot.

If she has, there’s been no reaction from her about whether she sees the likeness.

JLo isn’t the first celebrity to find her doppelgänger, though.

Let’s also not forget the global ‘lookalike’ competitions, in which thousands of people who claim they look like a specific celeb meet up to battle it out to be named the winner.

These competitions have since become a massive viral trend, most notably starting with a Timothée Chalamet contest in New York City in October 2024.

YouTuber Anthony Po organised the first major viral event in Washington Square Park featuring Timothée Chalamet doppelgängers. The event gained so much attention that the actor even crashed his own contest.

This then sparked plenty of other celebrity look-alike contests across the US, UK and Ireland, from Harry Styles to Paul Mescal, and Dev Patel to Jeremy Allen White.
