He admitted he has less than a quarter in his commissary account. Duggar family critics think it’s a ploy.</p>

<p id=”par-3_72″>In the filing, Duggar claims he has just $0.22 in his commissary account and absolutely no money or assets in the outside world. He claims he does not have a prison job that pays and has no way of making payments on those judgments. The most interesting statement pertains to the rest of the Duggar clan. Josh revealed that his family used to put money in his account, but has since stopped.</p>
<p id=”par-4_62″>Josh was sentenced to 12 years behind bars for possessing and receiving child pornography. He was also ordered to pay $50,000 in fines. The felon has<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/josh-duggars-release-date-has-been-pushed-back-again.html/”> a tentative release date of December 2032</a>. Once released, he’ll need to abide by a lengthy list of restrictions. He will need to stay away from minors and refrain from using the internet, for example. </p>

According to <a href=”https://www.bop.gov/locations/institutions/nym/nym_commlist.pdf”>the Federal Bureau of Prisons</a>, inmates in federal institutions are limited to spending no more than $360 per month on commissary items. Even A-list inmates, like Sean’ Diddy’ Combs, Harvey Weinstein, and R. Kelly, are held to the cap; surely Josh Duggar is, too.</p>
