Concern for Justin Bieber’s welfare has increased online after the star changed his Instagram name to a bizarre new moniker.
The Stay hitmaker, 31, has had fans speculating about his wellbeing for months due to his erratic behaviour online, from posts seemingly shading his wife Hailey to an explosive Father’s Day message.
While the singer has hit out at those repeatedly questioning his wellbeing, worries have intensified once more after the musician changed his handle on Instagram while sharing a slew of unusual posts.
Formerly just justinbieber on the platform, he has now changed his handle to lilbieber for reasons completely unknown.
He also had a posting spree on the site, sharing a series of dark selfies and screenshots from video calls with friends.
Justin also shared an adorable picture with his son, Jack Blues, who he and Hailey welcomed in August last year.
The picture shows the Baby singer playing with the youngster in a cardboard box filled with colourful plastic balls.
Justin is beaming at the youngster, wearing a red hoodie and dark trousers.
Fans took to the comment section of his latest posts to speculate about the name change, asking ‘what is going on?’
‘Anyone else see Justin changed his name?👀’ Katiemariec14 asked.
Vadafuq4556 pointed out: ‘I’ve been following Justin on instagram since 2013 and never once he changed his @ I’m shocked.’
Others said there could be ‘a new rapper in the game’, drawing comparisons to artists like Lil Wayne and Lil Xan.
‘Someone already took the justinbieber username. Yes I checked 😂,’ Dylan.macphail shared.
‘I was about to unfollow you I thought I accidentally followed a fan page,’ Elena_lika admitted.
‘Lilbieber….. Yea we lost him,’ Yoquierohomero commented gravely.
It comes after Justin left fans shocked with a spate of posts revealing his ‘anger issues.’
‘People keep telling me to heal. Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already? I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues,’ he began.
‘I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry,’ he continued, before referencing his strong Christian faith.
‘The harder I try to grow. The more focussed on myself I am. Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others.’
‘Because honestly I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately, aren’t you?’
He accompanied his post with a middle-finger emoji in the caption, the same as he had previous posts over the weekend, including pictures of his make-up entrepreneur wife, 28, and Jack sitting at a piano.
He previously uploaded snaps of himself and baby Jack, again with the explicit caption of a single middle finger emoji that appalled fans.
Last month, Justin also shared some pictures with Jack from a getaway with pals that sparked concern among fans, where he could be seen sitting on an outdoor couch, gazing down at his son lying next to him.
But the previous picture showed him smoking a roll-up with a friend, in the exact same spot, wearing the same pair of blue athletic shorts, although Jack was not pictured in that image.
