After almost a week, Kanye West has spoken out about the altercation between himself and a man he claims ‘sexually assaulted’ his wife Bianca Censori.

While on a night out at the Chateau Marmont, the 46-year-old rapper became the subject of a battery case with the Los Angeles Police Department after allegedly punching another man.

West, who goes by Ye now, claimed the stranger had ‘put his hands under Censori’s dress’ and ‘grabbed’ her inappropriately.

Taking to The Download podcast, the Stronger rapper has now shared his side of the incident and clarified it did not happen at Disneyland after confusion over timelines.

He did not see the incident, instead his 29-year-old wife relayed what happened, prompting West to take action and confront the man who was sat outside the club.

‘I talked to the guy and said, “You just, you need to leave right now,” and he was like, “Oh, it’s okay.” And, it’s like, “no, it’s not okay”,’ West recalled. ‘It wasn’t okay.’

Joking with the podcast host Justin LaBoy, the Power rapper said: ‘He had to go to bed early… I tucked this n**ga in.’

He did not directly explain what had happened but LaBoy questioned if the man might ‘still be sleeping’ to which the father of four added: ‘I don’t know what happened.’

Since the initial report from the LAPD on the charge, the man has been allegedly identified as one of LA’s bar owning twins, Mark or Jonnie Houston.

TMZ reported that Censori had bumped into one of the twins inside the club, where she claims he grabbed and touched her.

Sources speaking to the outlet insist her side is ‘totally off base and simply not accurate’ and the club was simply busy at the time and they bumped into each other.

The incident was over quickly and he headed outside to sit with friends, until West came outside to confront him.

However, reports suggest the controversial rapper punched the wrong twin, although it’s not known which of the Houstons bumped into Censori in the first place.

The man reported the incident to the police, who arrived hours after West had left the venue with his wife.

LAPD confirmed to NBC News that the man told officers that the US star punched him in the face at least two times.

In a statement to Metro.co.uk, West’s team previously claimed: ‘”Grabbed” is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted.

‘The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses.

‘She was battered and sexually assaulted.’

An investigation is currently underway into the incident, with law enforcement sources reportedly failing to find any evidence that one of the brothers assaulted Censori.

The case will be sent to the City Attorney for review to see if any official charges need to be filed.
