Katie Price has again come under fire for the treatment of her pets.
Over the years there have been repeated calls for the former glamour model, 47, to be banned from owning pets due to the deaths of multiple animals in her care.
Since 2017, eight animals she had brought into her home have died, with five of them escaping and being hit by cars.
In recent months Katie has been jetting between her home in the UK and Dubai – where her husband Lee Andrews, 41, lives.
However, she now appears to be considering how their lives can fit together going forward – which includes reassessing the futures of her 12 current pets.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Katie told her 371,000 followers: ‘I’ve got to sort out what I’m going to do with the animals because obviously Lee’s in Dubai and I’m going to keep going to Dubai and back.
‘I’ve got 12 animals in the house. I know I like things excessive like big cars, big boobs, big bum, lots of animals, horses.
‘I think I need to re-evaluate my life a little bit and just have a little think about everything. Because yeah do I need so many animals?’
Explaining how she feels the amount of pets she owns may no longer fit into her lifestyle, she went on to share: ‘You know you got to be there all the time for them. Do I need…anyway everything I do is excessive, we all know that.
‘So, I am going to have to reevaluate things in my life. And I want to do my house up.’
Although Katie seemed nonchalant about potentially ditching her animals, several of her viewers expressed their shock and disgust at her comments.
‘You shouldn’t be allowed to have pets you have a record of neglect and cruelty,’ one commented.
‘Maybe you should have thought that you’d actually have to look after your 17 animals before you got them? Might have been an idea,’ someone else wrote.
‘The way you casually say you don’t need so many animals…you’re a disgrace who just thinks about yourself,’ another added.
Meanwhile others declared ‘poor animals’ and urged anyone able to ‘please help them’.
Their sentiments were echoed by Peta – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals – who have previously slammed Katie’s treatment of animals.
‘There is almost nothing more Katie Price could do to cement the fact that she is an unfit animal guardian and an irresponsible person,’ the non-profit organisation’s vice president of programmes Elisa Allen said in a statement to Metro.
‘Time and time again, this woman proves she doesn’t care about the lives she wastes or listen to vital advice – and she is still treating live animals like stuffed toys: as disposable.’
In the past, the string of fatalities of animals in Katie’s care have sparked a petition that amassed over 36,000 signatures calling for her to be banned from owning pets.
A few years ago, Peta even went so far as to offer her £5,000 in exchange for signing a ‘legally binding agreement promising never to acquire another animal’.
Katie currently owns seven dogs and several Sphinx cats. Over the past nine years, she has announced the deaths of five dogs, a horse, and a chameleon – many of them being killed in traffic accidents near her former home in Sussex.
However, when previously responding to criticism, she’s said their deaths were all tragedies that she attributed to being ‘bad luck’.
‘When people say I shouldn’t have animals, it’s circumstances that were out of my hands,’ she once told The Sun.
‘It’s no lack of me not looking after them or anything like that. I love animals, I love nurturing.’

At the time Allen raised concerns that Katie was ‘consistently harming’ animals.
‘While your intentions may be good, the ever-growing number of animals who have either died under your supervision or been given away is impossible to ignore, and people are rightly concerned,’ she said in an open letter.
‘Whatever you may offer as reasons for their suffering, relinquishment, or demise, the fact is that you are consistently harming these sensitive, sentient individuals, and I hope you agree that this is a solution.’
