The twists and turns in Katie Price’s ongoing relationship saga with her jailbound husband Lee Andrews just keep on coming.
After flying out to Dubai to reunite with her spouse of five months just days ago, in a bid to straighten things out and free him from prison, it seemed Katie was finally giving up on him.
But her latest bold statement indicates that might not be the case.
The former glamour model, 48, was seen looking utterly fed up as she sat with her head in her hands in a bikini on a sun lounger earlier this week, after travelling yet again to the UAE on account of her husband.
Lee, who is in his 40s, vanished from her life on May 13 – standing her up live on Good Morning Britain, where they were booked to do a joint live TV interview – with a baffled Katie later telling the world he had been kidnapped and tied up in a van.
Eventually, the pair were put in touch by his dad, with Lee claiming he had been arrested on suspicion of espionage, before it emerged he had actually been arrested and detained at the notorious Al Awir central prison for alleged fraud.
He is thought to still be in jail, awaiting someone to pay up the reported £150,000 so he can be freed – a bill that has increased and seems to firmly be resting on Katie’s shoulders, despite the self-proclaimed billionaire entrepreneur’s alleged fortune.
Sources indicated Katie was ‘in pieces’ over Lee’s behaviour, having come to the realisation he was simply ‘a chancer’ rather than the self-made success he claimed to be, with her likely ‘heading to the divorce courts again’, according to the Daily Mail.
But now the mum of five has made another massive show of support for Lee.
After being photographed without her wedding and engagement rings when she touched down at Gatwick Airport on Friday morning, she took to Instagram late on Saturday night to correct any assumptions.
Posting a picture of her left hand to her Stories, with both bands firmly back in place on her ring finger – over her tattoo of Lee’s name – she added in a simple caption: ‘I love @wesleeandrews.’
It’s not known what caused her apparent change of heart, although a source claimed to The Mirror that the removal was just a stunt in the first place, ‘making sure she doesn’t lose face’ as she ‘knows how this all looks and what everyone thinks of him’.
‘She’s only taken her ring off to fly back to create a story. She’s not wearing the ring but she’s not left him.
‘She knows she has to be seen to be doing the right thing. But she hasn’t left him, she’s very much into this marriage.’
Ever since the couple tied the knot within days of meeting in January, their relationship has been plagued by his chequered past.
Several women have come forward accusing Lee of ‘scamming’ them, and some bold claims about his so-called entrepreneurial successes have been exposed as lies.
However, while Katie was out in Dubai this past week, she also formed an unlikely alliance with Lee’s ex, Dina Taji, meeting up to record an episode of her podcast together.
The Palestinian-born personal trainer dated Lee for over three years and discovered he had forged her signature to take out a £200k mortgage in her name.
She allegedly only found out when the mortgage company called her, and Lee was then reported to the authorities, resulting in him serving time behind bars and being slapped with a subsequent travel ban last year.
Lee initially denied having a ban on multiple occasions, claiming he can and does leave Dubai. He’s also denied being a scammer. In contrast, Katie eventually told her followers that he does have a travel ban, but you can ‘get one for anything’.
Dina hasn’t spoken about her relationship with Lee publicly yet, unlike his other ex, Alana Percival, who has been incredibly vocal about her experiences with his ‘lies,’ urging Katie to ‘run for the hills’.
In a clip of the upcoming episode with Dina, she was seen telling Katie that she ‘really didn’t care about responding to reporters and everyone that was messaging me, I mean, just out of respect’ as Lee and Katie’s relationship hit the headlines.
Dina then said of Katie: ‘If there was anything I wanted to share and kind of warn her, if anything, it would be woman-to-woman, you know? Face-to-face.

Misleading claims of being a multi-millionaire business owner
When Katie named Lee as her new partner, he was selling himself as the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an ‘investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness’.
His profile, which had 111k followers, was littered with photos of the entrepreneur in the gym and enjoying the high life in Dubai – also appearing to rub shoulders with Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian.
However, it was all later exposed as a farce – with no information about his company on its website, and his snaps with celebrities appearing to also be AI-generated.
Being banned from leaving Dubai
After meeting and marrying her new husband in Dubai, it came time for Katie to fly home to the UK – however her husband was unable to join her.
This was due to the fact that he’d allegedly served time in Dubai’s Al Awir central prison for suspected fraud, for allegedly taking out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-girlfriend’s name without her knowledge.
The UAW bans people facing criminal investigations from leaving the country, however Lee denied he was unable to return to the UK and said there must be some ‘wrong details’.
However, Katie later confirmed he was subjected to a ban, but didn’t clarify why.
Teasing a fake pregnancy
Just a few weeks into their relationship, both Katie and Lee teased they were expecting a baby. After Katie declared she was ‘having his child’ Lee wrote they were a ‘perfect couple soon to be triple’.
At one point, the mum of five even urged her followers to pay £2.99 to find out the results of a pregnancy test.
Despite the attempts to generate publicity, she then confirmed she was not pregnant.
Scamming a string of women
Days after Katie and Lee tied the knot, two of his exes accused him of being a ‘liar, narcissist and manipulator’.
Two months later, it was then reported he’d been begging women for money weeks before he married Katie.
His ex Alana, then shared a post on Instagram calling him the ‘Tinder Swindler’ and claimed multiple women had contacted her saying he’d tried to scam them out of money too.
‘Ghosting’ his wife
After Lee failed to return to the UK last week, Katie revealed she had concerns he’d been kidnapped and then reported him as a missing person.
However, it was then reported that Lee had actually ‘ghosted’ his wife and was ‘squatting in a slightly run-down villa’ in Dubai and using a burner phone.
The Sun claimed he was ‘frantically planning a route out of this ginormous hole he appears to have buried himself in’.
‘I don’t care about coming on here (online) and all this noise that’s happening.’
Katie then chimed in to declare that ‘women stick together.’
‘I came to Dina about one of the cases because I thought, “Is Dina involved?”
‘Then we had a cup of tea, as girls do; we’ve had a long chat, and that’s for us to know and you to find out in the future.’
It appears whatever was shared in that conversation though has not been enough to deter Katie from sticking by her man.
She made several visits to the prison where Lee is being held on her most recent trip, but it is said she has not seen him in person, although Lee gave her ‘permission to get all his phones’ and his ‘belongings’.
Lee has also apparently assured Katie that he can afford to pay the six-figure sum to grant his release – but Katie is thought to have realised the only way he’ll be freed is if she actually pays the fine, which she realises would be a ‘reckless’ move.
It’s also unknown if she could manage to do so, as a former bankrupt – even if she wanted to.
