Lee Andrews’ dad has reportedly been thrown in the same Dubai prison as Katie Price’s after another dramatic legal twist.
According to reports, Lee’s father, Peter Andrews, has also been jailed at Dubai’s Al Awir prison after allegedly being reported to authorities by a third party.
The father and son are understood to have seen each other behind bars, with both believed to be facing fraud allegations.
Lee is said to be currently being held while he attempts to raise money to settle his outstanding debts in the hope of securing his release.
He is also said to be facing extradition proceedings and hopes to return to the UK to reunite with Katie.
The latest development is reportedly putting further strain on the couple’s relationship.
A source told The Sun that Katie has reached ‘the end of her tether’ following weeks of drama surrounding her husband.
‘It is quite astonishing – you really couldn’t make this up,’ the source said.
‘Both Lee and his dad are now behind bars in the same prison.
‘Lee maintains his innocence and is hoping to pay off his outstanding debts and get out as quickly as possible.
‘He hopes to return to the UK and start his life afresh.’
The insider added that friends have been encouraging the former glamour model to walk away from the relationship amid the ongoing turmoil.
On top of Lee and his father’s supposed legal troubles, the couple are also said to be locked in a dispute over their seven-month-old Pomsky puppy, Dubaii.
According to reports, the dog is currently being cared for by Lee’s former partner, Dina, who is said to be refusing to return the puppy despite Katie having paid for it.
A source claimed: ‘Katie is livid. She just wants her dog back.’
Katie has not publicly commented on the latest reports surrounding her husband or his father’s alleged imprisonment.
