A new line of Lego Marvel mini-busts has been unveiled, with the first two characters being Iron Spider-Man and Iron Man MK4.
It’s been a rough few years for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as while it’s still had some big hits at the cinema, it’s clear it’s lost some of its sheen, as an unstoppable cultural juggernaut.
The appetite is still there though and given the enormous cast for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film it’s guaranteed to be a massive hit. Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland are already announced to be in it, although one of them not necessarily in the role you might expect…
Whether Iron Man will be in the movie, or its follow-up Secret Wars, is currently unclear but you can at least ensure that he and Spider-Man are sitting on your work desk or mantlepiece, with these neat new Lego mini-busts.
It seems like this will be the start of a new range of sets, similar to the popular line of Star Wars helmets, but to start things off you’ve got two heavy hitters: the invincible Iron Man and the amazing Spider-Man in his Iron Spider costume.
To be specific, it’s the Mark IV Iron Man armour, primarily from the Iron Man 2 movie. The bust measures 17cm tall and 17cm and is made up of 434 Lego pieces.

That includes a special Iron Man minifigure, plus posable airbrake flaps, micro missile launchers, and a printed nameplate.
The Iron Spider-Man bust is based on the suit from Avengers: Infinity War, which suggests that if there are other mini-busts they’ll also be based on different costumes from multiple different movies.
It’s the same height as the Iron Man bust, plus it has two big mechanical spider legs sticking out of Spidey’s back and a Spider-Man minifigure. Despite that, it’s actually made up of slightly fewer pieces, at a total of 379.
The two sets are £54.99 each and you can pre-order them both now from the Lego website, although the Iron Man MK4 Bust will be out first, on June 1, and then the Iron Spider-Man Bust two months later on August 1.
Whether that’s an indication of the regularity with which new mini-busts will be released isn’t yet known but if these two are successful you can guarantee there’ll be more.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for May 2026, so you can be sure that there’ll be many more sets, of all different kinds, in the run-up to that, and likely a renaissance in interest for the MCU in general.
