In a heartfelt Instagram post, Tomei shared a moving message alongside a photo of Keaton, reflecting on the late actress’s zest for life.

“She danced through life with wit and wonder. Thank you for showing us how to live wide open. You will be forever missed. We were blessed to know you,” Tomei wrote, adding a white dove emoji to her post.

Tomei and Keaton worked together on several Hollywood events over the years. They were both in the 2015 film “Love the Coopers.”

Remembering Diane Keaton

Keaton passed away on October 11, according to her representatives.

A representative released a simple statement which read, “There are no further details available at this time, and her family has asked for privacy in this moment of great sadness.”
