Married At First Sight UK bride’s terrified three-word response to groom’s teeth

A Married At First Sight UK bride was given the fright of her life after her groom pulled a risky prank at the altar.

Dog walker Kristina, 30, and mechanic Kieran, 28, decided to take the plunge and tie the knot on the E4 reality show.

However, on their big day, Kieran opted to accessorise his tweed suit with a set of terrifying false teeth.

As he walked down the aisle with gappy, buck teeth that protruded over his bottom lip, Kristina’s face dropped.

Noticing her crestfallen expression, Kieran decided to rub it in and commented: ‘Are you alright, are you ok? What’s your name?’

But in a voiceover, Kristina revealed her three-word reaction to the stunt: ‘These teeth. What the f**k?’

Even Kieran admitted to producers the prank was a huge risk, saying he was ‘nervous’ to see Kristina’s response but wanted to test her sense of humour.

He confessed: ‘I think the teeth could make us look a little bit immature. I’m a little bit nervous to see how it goes.’

‘This could really end up bad. I just want to know if this girl’s fun.’

On Instagram, the stunt received a mixed reaction from viewers, with some saying they would be fuming in Kristina’s position, while others applauded the comedy.

@lynney13 said: ‘The fact he would do that is an instant ick.’

Echoing their sentiment, @eboz2 commented: ‘Being able to take a joke is very different from putting up with immaturity. I think that’s hilarious but definitely isn’t appropriate under those circumstances.’

@lewielew42 agreed and wrote: ‘No thanks! 👎. Reminds me of something my ex would do and that’s why he’s my ex! Constantly pissing around and loving being the centre of attention.’

However, @nikita__jasmine were among those praising the prank as ‘comedy gold’ and saying that Kieran was their ‘type of lad.’

@meganreecewordl added: ‘I would have high fived him and thought “that’s my kinda man!” Haha, but I love to laugh so.’

Viewers will have to tune into MAFS UK to see if Kieran and Kristina stand the test of time – but couples have continued their relationships after the show.

Among them are Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson, who appeared on the programme two years, and recently announced their engagement.
