“The Marvels” actress Zawe Ashton revealed she will be welcoming her second child with fiancé Tom Hiddleston.
Ashton made the special announcement with a Vogue photoshoot that was released Saturday, June 7. The gorgeous images were shared ahead of her red-carpet debut.
The fashion magazine interviewed the star as she chose which dress to showcase her bump at the closing of the SXSW festival, which took place in London on Saturday, June 7.
The designer of the dress, Emilia Wickstead, praised Ashton and said it was an honor to dress her.
âZawe wore a soft pink gown from us during her last pregnancyâquietly glowing, with a little secret only she knew. Now, to celebrate her second in this beautiful blue from our pre-fall collection, and to share it with the world, feels like a sweet continuation of that story,” Wickstead said.

Ashton Talks Being Pregnant on the Red Carpet
Ashton opened up about how it can feel a bit exposing to be pregnant on the carpet.
âI feel really lucky to be working with someone that I know and whoâs been such a champion of me at this sensitive red-carpet dressing moment,” she began.
The 40-year-old added, âI feel like Iâll be very held on an evening where, as an expectant mother, you can feel a little bit exposed.”
She expressed how she was looking forward to wearing the stunning dress at the upcoming event.
âI think that every time you step onto a red carpet, thereâs a really unique opportunity to express your authentic self, your individuality, your creativity, and celebrate where you are at in that moment,â she continued. âIâm really grateful to Emilia and her team, and canât wait to reveal this look!â
Hiddleston & Ashton Met in 2019
The two met in 2019 during the Broadway revival of the play “Betrayal.” The two played a married couple, and Hiddleston ended up receiving a Tony nomination for his role.
The incredibly private couple confirmed they were engaged in March 2022, according to US Weekly.
Ashton later revealed to Vogue in June 2022 the couple were about to become first time parents.
Hiddleston, who stars as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, gushed about being a dad while accepting an award at the Miami Film Festival in April 2024, according to WSVN.
âItâs just changed everything. It changed the center of my life completely,” he said. “Thereâs a before and an after, and Iâm happy to be living in the after.”
