Molly-Mae Hague has revealed how her split from Tommy Fury left her ‘being sick and having panic attacks’.
The former Love Island star is sharing the details of her tumultuous 2024 split from the boxer, 26, in season 2 of her award-winning documentary series Molly Mae: Behind It All.
The influencer, 26, shines a spotlight on her fashion brand Maebe, the ups and downs of motherhood, and the challenges she’s now facing after her reunion with Tommy, who was struggling with alcohol dependence before their breakup.
In episode 3 of the new series, Molly-Mae emotionally reveals how she’s still triggered by the word ‘alcohol’ due to Tommy’s past behaviour.
‘Even though Tommy and I have been so much better and we’ve been getting to a better place, there are still things that trigger me so badly. I hear the word alcohol and I’m tense. I’m shaking. I’m really anxious,’ she admits.
The TV star adds that she feels ‘consumed’ when things aren’t going well in their relationship.

‘I had this panic attack and I was being sick and I thought “oh God this is not good. This is really bad.” My body is literally telling me it’s not coping with the anxiety. I had to go on beta blockers because I was so anxious.’
Despite appearing as a happy family on social media, Molly-Mae admittedly doesn’t know how to label her relationship with Tommy since the split, and still has fears for their future together.
After meeting in the Love Island villa in 2019, the couple got engaged after Tommy popped the question while in Ibiza in July 2023.
What are beta blockers?
According to the NHS, beta blockers work mainly by slowing down the heart. They do this by blocking the action of hormones like adrenaline.
They’re often prescribed for irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, and after heart attacks.
Beta blockers usually come as tablets. They are prescription-only medicines, which means they can only be prescribed by a GP.
‘A lot of people say having children can really pull you apart, but that was never part of the problem with Tommy and I. Bambi has always been really good for our relationship. Recently Bambi has actually brought us closer together,’ she explains.
‘I’m not putting my ring back on yet, just because I just don’t feel quite ready. And also, I would kind of like him to make a bit of a gesture. Not ask me again. That’s just, like, a lot, but, you know, just a nice dinner or something, just to have that moment of, “OK, I’ll wear my ring again.”’

‘We are still living apart and still going through things. We’re still navigating things, we’re still figuring it out. We’re back together, yes, but it’s not perfect. It’s a new chapter for me and Tommy.’
The pair are still living apart, with Molly-Mae remaining at their £4,000,000 Manchester mansion with Bambi, which she worries could impact their daughter.
‘It was never the plan. I have my house and he has his house and Bambi’s living between the two. We’re together, but she probably feels like we’re quite separate. Maybe by the end of this year we won’t be,’ she explains on the show.
‘The thought of going over there and putting all of my eggs in one basket… it’s scary. Because with me and him I never know what tomorrow is going to bring. I get anxiety because I don’t know if I’m just going to wake up and be in a big problem.
‘There’s been many a time where I’ve woken up and had a big problem on my hands. At the minute having two homes and living apart is a bit of a safety blanket for me, and that security of knowing that I have my own space and I can remove myself if I need to.’
Episodes one to three of Molly-Mae: Behind It All series two launch exclusively on Prime Video on October 18. The last three episodes will be out in early 2026.
