NBC Reveals First Look at ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 14 Premiere [PHOTOS]

<p id=”par-1_19″>Firehouse 51 is back in action. <a href=”http://cheatsheet.com/tag/nbc”>NBC</a> has revealed a first look at the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/chicago-fire-season-14-nbc-october-2025.html/”><em>Chicago Fire</em> Season 14</a> premiere. </p>

<p id=”par-2_44″>“Kicking Down Doors” will air Wednesday, October 1. Here’s the synopsis (via <a href=”https://tvline.com/lists/nbc-premiere-spoilers-one-chicago-med-fire-pd-svu/chicago-fire-season-14-nbc-2/”>TV Line</a>): “A new face at Firehouse 51 causes tension, while rising chaos in the city brings new challenges to the team. Herrmann stalls on plans of relinquishing his office to Mouch.”</p>

<p id=”par-3_39″>Who’s that new recruit who’s stirring up drama? The season premiere will introduce Brandon Larracuente as Sal Vasquez. His arrival “changes the whole dynamic at the firehouse,” Larracuente said in a video shared on the One Chicago <a href=”https://youtu.be/qdvsZjQubQk?feature=shared” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>YouTube</a> channel.</p>

<p id=”par-4_38″>Vasquez – who is taking over as driver from <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/jake-lockett-support-rome-flynn-unexpected-chicago-fire.html/”>Sam Carver (Jake Lockett)</a>, who left Chicago at the end of season 13 – doesn’t exactly hit it off right away with his superior, Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo). </p>

<p id=”par-5_14″>“Kidd is just kind of annoyed by the cockiness that he portrays,” Mayo said.</p>

<p id=”par-6_13″>The season 14 premiere will also feature Daniel Kyri’s Darren Ritter character. </p>

<p id=”par-7_39″>Earlier this year, it was announced that both Kyri and Lockett would leave <em>Chicago Fire </em>at the end of last season. However, Kyri will appear in a few episodes of season 14 in order to wrap up Ritter’s storyline. </p>
