Netflix’s longest-running reality show is set to come to an end with season 10.
Beloved by fans for years, Queer Eye’s upcoming season will now be its last with filming already underway on the final episodes.
The show initially hit the streaming service as an update on Bravo’s series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which aired over a decade before the reboot.
The Netflix version Queer Eye first aired in 2018 with a whole new set of Fab Five.
Advising people in need of lifestyle makeovers have been food and wine specialist Antoni Porowski, interior designer Bobby Berk, grooming consultant Jonathan Van Ness, fashion designer Tan France and culture expert Karamo Brown.

Berk left the show after season eight, with Jeremiah Brent taking over as the design expert for the final two seasons – as Netflix now winds down the show.

The last season will be set in Washington, DC, after Netflix decided this will be the last place the gang visit to work their magic.
The streamer confirmed the news in a post to X, writing: ‘10 seasons. Fab Five. One last go ‘round. The final season of Queer Eye is officially in production!’
The news that the show will be ending left many fans devastated, as @ohsofabolous replied to the tweet on Netflix’s official account: ‘This is not fair! Why is this the final season?!’
@Gottara added: ‘I feel robbed, I deserved 10 more seasons of Jeremiah. You just can’t give him to us and take him away this quick.’
‘When that premiered in 2004 or so I couldn’t ever imagine how fond I’d become of that original cast. I like how they didn’t have to pretend to be best friends,’ @zearl added.
@HBur7 replied: ‘Final season. This show brings so much joy… I’m not ready to let go,’ alongside a string of brokenhearted emojis.
The show has been nominated for 37 Emmys and picked up six consecutive wins for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, before Shark Tank upset Queer Eye’s run last year to take home the gong.
