Nicola Peltz Beckham and her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, have shared some Christmas Day photos with their 3.1 million Instagram followers.
Alongside a carousel of festive pictures showing the pair in matching pyjamas, the actress shared the caption: ‘We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy New Year filled with so much love, peace and happiness.’
Despite the positive message, however, fans were quick to point out who was missing from the photo.
Many people saw past the festive PJs and instead focused on Brooklyn’s strained relationship with his family.
That meant that, despite Nicola wishing everyone ‘love, peace and happiness’, fans were quick to comment that the post was a dig towards the Beckhams, with one fan, @sloane.ireland, even comparing them to ‘Harry and Megan 2.0.’
Others were keen to point out that Nicola’s message didn’t ring true following recent allegations that Brooklyn had blocked his family on Instagram.
One Instagram user, @azu_avulous, said: ‘Having your parents blocked out of your life will never be the answer…’
‘I’m surprised you haven’t dropped the surname Beckham because you were all quick to drop the Beckhams.’ @katie_grey2022 added.
Another fan, @mary_claire_wie, commented on the festive pics: ‘If your wife were truly supportive of you, she would never allow you to alienate your family. Life is way too short to hold onto grudges.’
Amongst the concern for Brooklyn and Nicola’s separation from the Beckhams were a few fans coming to their defence.
One follower, @madmad_be, said, ‘How this adult man chooses to manage his relationships with his parents is none of our business.’
‘These comments are horrible. Imagine trying to share a happy moment just to be torn down over things no one else understands besides their family.’ @Fraize27 added.
On the other side of the pond, Victoria Beckham shared a loving video of her dancing with husband David Beckham.

David was sporting a Christmas hat as the pair waltzed around the house.
The former Spice Girl captioned the Instagram post: ‘David and Victoria giving their very best Barry and Barbra on Christmas Day xxx kisses from us both xx’
The 51-year-old mum of four also shared videos on her Instagram story showing off their intimate family Christmas.
One story showed David dancing with daughter Harper Seven – with Victoria captioning the cute daddy-daughter moment with ‘Truly the best daddy.’
Victoria also shared pics of the grandparents getting involved in the Christmas entertainment.
The couple, similar to their estranged son, shared a photo in matching pyjamas with the caption, ‘Christmas PJS from the elf…we all love you so much!’
This year marks the first year Brooklyn has not attended the Beckham family festivities.
