Doctor Who star Noel Clarke was reportedly arrested for voyeurism following his £6million libel case loss against The Guardian.
The actor, 49, was detained in his west London home last week while the police conducted a five hour search, alongside his laptop and documents reportedly being seized as well.
New reports that have emerged reveal he was taken into custody for questioning with his arrest over an allegation of voyeurism against a woman in her 20s which is said to have occurred in February 2013.
Clarke was held in custody for eight hours before he was released on bail.
Per the Guardian, the Central Specialist Crime Command launched a wider investigation on September 1 which also involved the raid of his Kensington address.
Earlier last month, Clarke was told he must pay at least £3million of the Guardian publisher’s legal costs after pursuing a case against the newspaper following their reporting of sexual misconduct claims against him.

The allegations came from more than 25 women, published in 2021, which Clarke has firmly denied.
When he sued Guardian News & Media (GNM) in 2023 he was reportedly ready to claim £70million in damages if he won as well as pursue claims over allegations that people conspired against him with fabricated accusations.
After a hearing, Justice Stey said: ‘ ‘It seems to me that the sum of £3m sought by the defendant is appropriate and no more than what ought to be reasonably ordered in this case.
‘It is substantially lower than the defendant’s likely level of recovery on detailed assessment and so in my judgment, it does allow for a suitably wide margin of error.’

The judge continued: ‘The claimant maintained a far-fetched and indeed a false case that the articles were not substantially true, by pursuing allegations of dishonesty and bad faith against almost all of the defendant’s truth witnesses.’
The allegations against the Bulletproof actor included a producer accusing him of filming a nude audition of an actress before sharing the footage with another producer.
Another co-star accused him of pressuring women to perform scenes nude, growing angry if they refused.
After it came out he revealed he was seeking professional help ‘to educate myself and change for the better’ and the Metropolitan Police dropped their investigation into him in 2022.
Metro has reached out to Noel Clarke’s representatives and Metropolitan Police for comment.
