Pop-sensation Olivia Rodrigo will make an appearance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on November 8, 2025, according to Rolling Stone. She’s not the only major celebrity who will make an appearance that night; Doja Cat, Elton John, Missy Elliot, and Brandi Carlile are slated to perform and/or present.
We do not yet know who specifically will perform and who will solely present, nor do we know which presenters will honor which inductees.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2025 Inductees
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website has listed out who will be inducted this year and for which categories. For the performer category, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will induct Chubby Checker, Cyndi Lauper, Joe Cocker, Bad Company, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes.
For musical contribution, the Hall of Fame will induct Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon. Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye are receiving the Musical Excellence Award.
Lenny Waronker will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for Lifetime Achievment. Ertegun was a co-founder of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame who also co-founded Atlantic Records. According to the Hall of Fame website, he is “one of the most significant figures in the modern recording industry.” This award is given to people who primarily work behind-the-scenes of the music industry. Waronker was the former president of Warner Records.
Other Celebrities Who Will Appear at the Induction Ceremony
Beyond Rodrigo, Doja Cat, John, Elliot, and Carlile, Rolling Stone reported celebrities such as David Letterman and Beck will participate in the evening. Flea, Iggy Pop, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Maxwell, Questlove, Raye, Sleepy Brown, Teddy Swims, Twenty One Pilots, and Taylor Momsen are also slated to be involved with the ceremony.
For those unfamiliar with the yearly ceremony, John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, gave a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter: âEach year the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony brings together the most influential artists in music today to honor their heroes who have inspired their music and careers. These artists come from around the world to create lifetime musical moments that will live on forever.â
How to Watch the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
GettyThe Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will film live in the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA on November 8 at 8 p.m. ET. This is the first time the ceremony is held in that theater since 2022.
People can watch live from home on Disney+. On January 1, 2026, ABC will air a primetime special featuring highlights from the night.
