Dubai Bling star Danya Mohammed Almulla has revealed she suffered from a rare condition during her pregnancy with her third child that she wouldn’t wish on her ‘worst enemy’.
The influencer, who is known as Diva Dee in the Netflix series, revealed at the end of the third season that she and her husband, DJ Bliss, were expecting a baby girl.
Throughout filming, the couple had kept their pregnancy a secret from their co-stars and fans, and Danya has now opened up on the difficult few weeks she suffered early on.
The 33-year-old, who is already mum to a six-year-old son and four-year-old daughter, experienced a condition called Hyperemesis gravidarum.
The pregnancy complication, which is more severe than morning sickness, can lead to symptoms including nausea, vomiting, weight loss, faintness and dehydration.
According to the NHS, the condition can affect around one to three in every 100 pregnant women, and was also experienced by Kate Middleton.

‘I was filming and I wasn’t feeling well, and I couldn’t tell anyone I was pregnant,’ Danya explained, revealing that her co-stars thought she was causing drama by not attending events during filming, but she was actually secretly suffering.
The condition started before she knew she was pregnant, with Danya initially thinking she was suffering from ‘food poisoning’.
‘I was in an emergency every single week. They knew me by name. I lost six kilograms,’ she continued to Harper’s Bazaar.
She was left ‘blindsided’ by the condition, after not experiencing it when she was pregnant with her first two children.

‘The crazy thing is, you don’t look pregnant – you’re just a few weeks along, but you’re so sick,’ she said.
‘I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I’m lucky. I just had it until I was five months pregnant.’
Thankfully, her newborn daughter was born healthy, with Danya saying Bliss and their two older children are ‘so excited’.
The star has appeared on all three seasons of Dubai Bling, alongside the likes of Loujain ‘LJ’ Adada, Kris Fade, Farhana Bodi and Safa Siddiqui.
Dubai Bling is available to watch on Netflix.
