<p id=”par-1_23″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-william/?swcfpc=1″>Prince William</a> has made his first public appearance since the Princess of Wales (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/dont-be-fooled-this-is-what-kate-middleton-was-really-like-in-school.html/?swcfpc=1″>formerly known as Kate Middleton</a>) shared <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/real-reason-kate-middleton-didnt-announce-cancer-sooner.html/?swcfpc=1″>her cancer diagnosis</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-2_74″>The Prince of Wales took a break from royal duties after his wife’s <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/royal-commentator-says-most-upsetting-part-kate-middleton-revealing-cancer-diagnosis-fear-in-her-voice.html/?swcfpc=1″>public announcement</a> on March 22. He returned to work on April 18 when he visited Surplus to Supper, which is a surplus food redistribution charity in Sunbury-on-Thames. There, William assisted volunteers as they sorted and redistributed food and then loaded up trucks with deliveries. He also told well-wishers that he was going to “look after” Kate during this difficult time. </p>

<p id=”par-5_101″>She went on to describe her meeting with the royal, saying: “I was at home at 8:30 last night and I thought I had to do something this is a chance to give a card directly to the palace officials. I didn’t think I’d be able to give the cards to William. I said ‘Can I shake your hand?’ I loved it. He was very down to earth. I’m never washing my hand again … He pointed at the food and said ‘That’s spaghetti hoops’ and I asked ‘How do you know about spaghetti hoops and he said ‘I’ve got children.’”</p>

At one point, he made a bowing gesture at another person, which proves that he sees himself as an equal and very much on the same level. He’s no better than anyone else or more important. He really valued the people in that moment.”</p>
