<p id=”par-1_25″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/nfl/?swcfpc=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>NFL</a> quarterback Matthew Stafford and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/who-is-detroit-lions-quarterback-matthew-staffords-wife-kelly-hall.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>his wife, Kelly</a>, have been married for more than a decade and have four children together: twins Sawyer and Chandler, Hunter, and Tyler.</p>
<p id=”par-2_40″>The couple are college sweethearts, having met at the University of Georgia where Matthew was the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/sports/?swcfpc=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>signal caller</a> for the Bulldogs and Kelly was a cheerleader. They dated for a few years and tied the knot on April 4, 2015.</p>
<p id=”par-3_46″>Matthew spent 12 seeasons with the Detriot Lions from 2009 to 2020. He was traded to the Los Angeles Rams ahead of the 2021 season. Kelly spoke to <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJgNwNlh3hA&t=475s” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>“The Cutting Edge” podcast</a> ahead of the 2026 season about how much that trade changed their lives. </p>
<p id=”par-4_38″>“Looking back at Detroit, I would say I was happy because I loved him, but I was also unhappy because I didn’t really know where I fit in or who I was,” she explained in the interview. </p>

<p id=”par-5_11″>Kelly said that relocating out West helped her find herself. </p>
<p id=”par-6_72″>“The move to LA really helped me realize I can be what I want to be,” she shared. “But I do think you lose yourself in what everyone else expects you to be. You end up being this partner, and your image is known as, you know, I was Matthew Stafford’s girlfriend and then I was Matthew Stafford’s fiancée, Matthew Stafford’s wife. You tend to lose who you are, or I did.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_64″>She added that the move gave her the confidence to launch her own podcasting career and pursue other business endeavors as well, saying, “I would remind myself to just stay true to the values I have. Reminder that I can chase after my own goals, too. It doesn’t just have to be about his. I didn’t really come to it until I moved to LA.” </p>
