Rihanna has debuted her enormous hair transformation that could give fans hints as to her Met Gala 2024 look.

The singer, 36, is expected to hit the famous steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York as part of the annual event, where she has previously walked the red carpet in some bold statement outfits.

Just days before the star-studded bash, the Fenty Beauty owner swapped her honey blonde locks for a brand new baby pink look.

The Diamonds singer accompanied her partner A$AP Rocky during a Puma pop-up shop event at Miami Race Weekend to celebrate the rapper’s collaboration with the brand.

Rihanna looked effortlessly chic with her long bubblegum pink hair worn with a slight wave, which she twinned with a slinky black silk dress.

She accessorised with gold chains and bangles, and bold bright red nails – but it was her bouncy pastel hair that really stole the show.

It’s not the first time Rihanna has gone pink, with the Work star pictured with a pastel pink pixie cut at a Clippers game in Los Angeles.

Her latest transformation has left many wondering whether it’s part of her look for the Met Gala, set to take place tonight.

Rihanna confirmed she would be attending the event, telling Vogue she would be wearing ‘Fenty something’, but also stressing she’ll go for a more modest look than previous years.

‘I’ve had my nipples out, my panties out. But now… I guess as a mum and an evolved young lady… there are things I feel like I would never do,’ she continued.

Other stars set to attend include gala co-chairs Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth alongside Anna Wintour.

According to a Page Six report, the Met Gala 2024 will see Lily Gladstone, Ayo Edebiri, Barry Keoghan, Olivia Rodrigo, Uma Thurman and Sarah Paulson in attendance.

A selection of Kardashians are expected to attend, as well as red carpet staple Sarah Jessica Parker who has been at the Met Gala 11 times.

Swifties will be disappointed as Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce reportedly declined their invitations to the event.

Anna Wintour has also reportedly banned some celebrities, including Jameela Jamil and Lena Dunham, so we likely won’t see them on the red carpet.

This year’s theme is Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, following 2023’s controversial Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.
