Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn has been spotted on a dating app despite appearing to be in a relationship with Doja Cat.
In August last year the American rapper – real name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini – was spotted with Joseph, 30, on an outing in London.
It came after Doja, 29, seemingly ‘manifested’ their relationship by asking one of his co-stars, Noah Schnapp, to set them up two years ago.
However, a profile set up in the actor’s name has popped up on celebrity dating app Raya this week.
The profile, which includes two photos of Joseph, 31, came to light earlier this week.
He was last seen with Doja two weeks ago, with the pair leaving a party in Los Angeles following the premiere of his new film Warfare.
‘The pair seemed happy the last time they were spotted together, having partied at the Sunset Tower Hotel with Joseph’s co-stars,’ a source told The Sun.
‘While it’s been almost eight months since Joseph and Doja went public with their relationship, that hasn’t stopped the actor from getting back on the apps.
‘He’s back on Raya and clearly open-minded about looking for another woman, which is hardly surprising given Doja’s history of being open to non-monogamous relationships.’
When initially expressing her interest in Joseph, Doja’s DMs to Noah about his co-star were shared publicly by the actor.
His actions lead to an online spat, with Doja calling Noah a ‘snake’ but also facing criticism for contacting the teenager and asking him to set them up.
However soon after Noah said he’d apologised to her and ‘everything is all good’.
Neither Doja nor Joseph have explicitly confirmed if they were in a relationship, but a source said last year it ‘very much looked like they were together’.
‘They were acting like a couple,’ they said of seeing them at a pub.
‘He had his arm around her, then she put her arm around him. He kissed her on the head at one point.
‘It was just them together, deep in conversation for ages. She was puffing on a vape and looked really happy.’
Doja, who has previously been linked to social media comedian J. Cyrus and indie artist Jawny, previously told Harper’s Bazaar that she’s ‘possibly a serial dater.’
‘But right now, I’m in a different place in my life where I am very committed and very much in love in a different way than before,’ she said.
‘I think I’ve evolved. I’m learning to love myself, so the way that I love other people is very different. I don’t feel like a lost little teen. I feel like a woman who is coming into her own.’
