Suits icon stuns fans with unrecognisable new look after ‘intense’ diet

A Suits star has left fans speechless after revealing the secret behind his astonishing body transformation.

Rick Hoffman, 56, is best known for playing narcissistic corporate attorney Louis Litt in the US legal drama Suits.

Appearing in all nine seasons of the hit Netflix show, which ran from 2011 to 2019, Rick became a fan-favourite amongst viewers.

However, after posting a selfie of his new slimmed-down physique on social media, fans are claiming that they had ‘no idea’ it was the same person.

Responding to his Instagram selfie, thousands flooded his comments section to congratulate his hard work.

One user called Chet joked that his character should be renamed to ‘Louis Fitt’, while @ChandyMusic said he has ‘finally become Harvey’.

Another user called Rani added: ‘Wow didn’t recognize him for a sec,’ while Taise said: ‘You look amazing!’

Veronica also joked that he has been ‘Litt up’ following his transformation.

Meanwhile, Jil wrote that he ‘looks great’ before asking what his secret was for the weight loss.

Responding to her comment, Rick replied: ‘Intense intermittent fasting and keto diet. No alcohol.’

Intermittent fasting involves limiting your caloric intake to certain hours of the day to help with weight loss.

A keto diet, however, involves removing carbohydrates from your diet in order to trigger a state of ketosis, which is when the body burns stored fat.

Rick’s transformation was first seen last month when he took a photo of himself in a trailer.

Wearing a white shirt with grey trousers, the 56-year-old had noticeably thicker hair compared to his time on Suits.

The actor then wrote in the caption for his picture: ‘Been a min’, while using the hashtag: ‘Circling back.’

His former Suits co-star Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen, also took to the comments section to praise his transformation.

She added a love heart and fire emoji underneath the image.

Rick has previously been open about his health issues after he was diagnosed with OCD and suffered from major anxiety.

Speaking on the JT Foxx show earlier this year, he said: ‘At the age of 23, I had the biggest challenge I ever had. I got struck with major anxiety where I would be woken up and I felt like I was jumping out of my skin 24/7 in this nightmare.’
