Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in the final weeks of planning their wedding — likely the most highly anticipated celebrity nuptials of the decade.
On April 1, 2026, Us Weekly reported that the music megastar and Super Bowl champ will get married on June 13 — a nod not only to her lucky number, 13, but timed to occur before Kelce’s pre-season training with the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to Us Weekly’s report, Swift and Kelce will get married in Rhode Island, with festivities at her private mansion on the coast and at Ocean House, a favorite five-star seaside resort (check out the venue’s stunning wedding brochure here).
However, while one of the outlet’s sources said Swift and Kelce feel “confident” about the privacy of those locations, another said things could change, acknowledging, “Taylor always has a plan B and C for every scenario.â
After Swift and Kelce got engaged on August 25, 2025, (and instanty broke the internet with their announcement), the Grammy winner said they planned on a giant bash. But according to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, âTheyâve gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private.”
A second source told the outlet, “As of now, theyâve scaled it down. Itâs no longer going to be a massive blowout.â
Estimates are that the famous duo is inviting 150 guests, but one of Us Weekly’s sources said they likely will not send out hard copy invitations, in an effort to keep details private, noting that “their closest friends and family know the venue and the date even if nothing formal has been sent out.”

GettyNarrowing down the guest list has not been easy for Swift and Kelce, Us Weekly’s sources told the outlet, noting that it will still be a star-studded affair. Swift publicly invited some of her celebrity friends after the engagement, from Ed Sheeran to radio and TV hosts she’s worked with for years.
It’s not known which of Kelce’s teammates will be there, though the couple has been close with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Britany. Among Swift’s closest celebrity friends are Selena Gomez (for whom Swift was behind the scenes at her 2025 wedding), Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, the Haim sisters, and Zoë Kravitz.
According to one of Us Weekly’s insiders, Swift isn’t planning to have formal bridesmaids but “has already asked her close girlfriends, like Selena and Gigi, to sleep over at her Rhode Island home the night before the wedding.” The insider also said the “Life of a Showgirl” singer and songwriter is also planning a bachelorette getaway with her besties.
The wedding ceremony is expected to be traditional, Us Weekly reported, with one source telling the outlet that it will include Swift’s dad “walking her down the aisle and all the classic touches, like the father-daughter and mother-son dances,” noting that “Taylor loves those emotional, meaningful moments, and Travis [is] on the same page.”
