Brad Pitt being sued by a penis cream company might not have been on your 2026 bingo card, but here we are…
The intimate brand, Beau D., are alleging some d***ish behaviour from the F1 star and has filed a lawsuit against his company, Beau Domaine.
In 2022, Pitt co-founded a beauty brand with the Perrin family, a prestigious wine-making dynasty in France.
You might be wondering why a company that sells ‘service for your private parts with “D. Cream”‘ is suing this joint venture?
The Malibu-based brand, Beau D., isn’t happy with Beau Domaine’s rebrand which occurred last summer, according to Air Mail.
After the French skincare line changed it’s name from Le Domaine to it’s current title, Beau D. has accused it of trademark infringement, false designation of origin (confusing customers who made a product or where it comes from), and common-law unfair competition under California’s Business and Professions Code.
As oppose to Beau D., Beau Domaine doesn’t stock specific cream for a man’s penis – regardless, the former isn’t happy.
This course of action follows three failed attempts at a private settlement from Beau D. founder Brandon Palas, who reportedly found out about the name change through friends who alerted him to the similar branding.
Now, he’s seeking a permanent injunction that would mean Beau Domaine has to switch up it’s name and branding as well as damages in excess of $75,000.
Something that certainly sets Palas’ company apart from Pitt’s is the use of a sperm-shaped cursor on the website flogging the D. Cream.
Selling at $56 per 50ml tub, the instructions for the product read: ‘Rub it in for maximum moisture, smoothness and potency.’
The description goes on: ‘“D. Cream” puts power in your package.’
The beauty line for men also stocks a ‘Lip Salve’ for which ‘puts power in your pucker’.
Beau Domaine also offer a different range of products, including a mix of anti-aging products and a ‘best seller’ three-step skincare ritual called ‘Brad’s Complete Routine’.
Beau D told the Air Mail that their pursuit of Beau Domaine ‘isn’t about publicity or punishment’. Palas said: ‘It’s about protecting the integrity of what we’ve spent years building and ensuring independent brands have the right to grow without being overshadowed or diluted.’
