<p id=”par-1_32″>People cannot stop talking about <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-harry/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Prince Harry</a>‘s “One More Question” <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-rhaR1ZlAs” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>interview with GQ</a> in which he talked about wanting to reconcile with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/resurfaced-video-shows-king-charles-doting-over-prince-harry-gets-injured.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>his father, King Charles</a>, and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/artist-paints-royal-family-portraits-recalls-prince-harrys-unkind-nature-toward-prince-william.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>his brother, Prince William</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-2_50″>“People look at us, and go ‘How are you going to work it out?’ Some people don’t want it to work out. I want it to work out,” Harry said. “With everything else that’s going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile. That’s the key point.”</p>
<p id=”par-3_45″>The “some people” comment led many to believe that the duke was talking about William. Now, an expert who used to be close with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/prince-harry-was-able-to-marry-meghan-markle-because-she-didnt-do-this-1-thing-in-her-past.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle</a>, is sharing their thoughts on why reconciling with the Sussexes is something William is “wary” of. </p>

There will always be a bond between the brothers, but the trust has been seriously damaged. William is fiercely protective of Catherine and his family, and I think he will be wary of another public reconciliation that could end in further revelations. Harry may be extending an olive branch, but William needs to know it’s genuine and, most importantly, private.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_60″>Ede also opined that after the public bashing of the royals in interviews, books, and TV programs, rebuilding trust won’t be easy, explaining, “Of course they can be forgiven, but forgiveness and trust are two very different things. The Netflix documentary and <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/prince-harrys-memoir-spare-now-become-one-most-discarded-books-time.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Spare</a> </em>exposed deeply personal family matters to millions of people, and that isn’t something you simply forget. </p>

The royal family has faced enough challenges, and a reconciliation would send a powerful message about forgiveness and unity. But this cannot become another carefully choreographed PR exercise. </p>
<p id=”par-9_36″>“It needs to happen behind closed doors, away from cameras and headlines. Ultimately, Harry and William are brothers, and it would be incredibly sad if their children grew up as strangers because of a family feud.”</p>
