Joe Exotic has announced he’s got married yet again despite currently being behind bars.
The Tiger King star, 62, revealed this week that he’d tied the knot for a sixth time.
Exotic – real name Joseph Allen Maldonado – is currently serving a 21-year prison sentence for attempted murder for hire.
However, he’s now got married to fellow inmate Jorge Flores Maldonado, 33.

Sharing a photoshopped snap of the couple wearing suits for the big day on Instagram, he quipped: ‘Never been more proud of someone. Meet my husband Jorge Flores Maldonado.’

A few days earlier he also shared photos with his new husband in prison, posing for one with his hand resting on Flores’ chest.
He captioned the post: ‘He has gotten me through so much fighting cancer under these conditions. All I pray to God for is Trump will allow me to enjoy a little life outside with him before it’s too late. I love you Jorge you are my life.’
Hoping for a presidential pardon, Maldonado also tagged U.S. President Donald Trump in the post as well.
However, only a few comments are currently showing on the post, with Maldonado appearing to delete any negative ones, writing: ‘You know the rules. Be nice or get the boot.’
Exotic had previously shared news of his engagement in October, telling his 396,000 followers: ‘Meet Jorge Marquez he is 33. He is so amazing and is from Mexico.’
‘Now, the quest of getting married in prison and getting him asylum or we be leaving America when we both get out. Either way, I wish I would have met him long ago.’

At the time he’s also appealed for help, saying he ‘needed to convince Trump to let me keep him in America’.
Exotic’s current prison term relates to the attempted murder for hire for the plot to kill Carole Baskin, as well as 19 counts of animal abuse.
Meanwhile CBS has reported his now-husband is in prison for immigration-related issues.
Prosecutors had said he’d $10,000 (£7,500) to an undercover FBI agent to kill Baskin during a recorded meeting in 2017.
In the recording, he said: ‘Just like follow her into a mall parking lot and just cap her and drive off.’
Maldonado has always maintained his innocence and claimed he was not being serious when making the comments.
In 2020 he rose to fame after being the focus of the Netflix documentary, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.
It followed Maldonado, the owner of an Oklahoma zoo, and his feud with Baskin, who accused him of abusing wild animals, including tigers, lions and alligators.
The streaming service teased of the wild tale: ‘A zoo owner spirals out of control amid a cast of eccentric characters in this true murder-for-hire story from the underworld of big cat breeding,’
Who has Joe Exotic been married to before?
Maldonado’s first husband was Brian Rhyne, who he married in the late 1980s. However, he died of HIV complications in 2001.
He then met his next partner, JC Hartpence, who helped him to create a travelling animal show.
After that relationship broke down, the exotic zoo owner’s third and fourth husbands were John Finlay and Travis Maldonado, the latter who was 32 years younger than the Tiger King star.
They were married in 2014 in a three-way ceremony. But less than a year Finlay wanted out. He later remarried a woman and they now have a child.
Then, in 2017, Maldonado died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Before marrying his sixth husband, the Netflix star was also married to Dillon Passage, but they divorced in 2021.
Maldonado has regularly shared updates with the public about his romances, previously revealing he was engaged to fellow inmate John Graham, but they eventually split.
That same year he moved on with Seth Posey after Maldonado held an online ‘Bachelor King’ contest, asking people to apply to become his new boyfriend.
Although Seth won and they planned to marry, that relationship also broke down.
Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness is streaming on Netflix.
