“Today” is one of the biggest shows on NBC. Millions of people welcome the cast into their homes each day, and some think of them as almost family. Recently, one of the stars of the show, meteorologist Dylan Dreyer, shared that she and her husband are going their separate ways.Â
Dylan Dreyer Made The Announcement On Instagram
Dylan Dreyer took to her Instagram on July 18 to announce the sad news. She did so by posting a picture of a sunset and adding a text overlay. She wrote, “For many years I have shared my family with you all â the highs and lows. The ups and downs. And all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between.”
Dylan Dreyer continued, “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love youâve given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”
The “Today” show meteorologist then said, We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends. Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for another. Thank you, as always, for your support.”
Reports Say There Is No Divorce Set Yet
Naturally, it is unclear what led to the divorce between Dylan Dreyer and her husband. However, according to Page Six, there is no plan in motion for their legal separation. An insider told the outlet, “There is no divorce set yet.”
Still, Dylan Dreyer’s decision to announce the news on social media signals that they are probably in the process of making it official. Page Six also reported that Dylan made her most recent appearance on the hit NBC morning show without her wedding ring, hinting at her announcement.
An insider also spoke to the outlet about Dylan’s husband. They said, “Brian, a freelance cameraman, is taking time off work to focus on family.” Dylan and Brian got married in 2012 and shared many of their happiest moments on social media. Notably, they recently posted pictures from the American Century Championship tournament.Â
Dylan and Brian have three young sons together: an 8-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 5-year-old. Dylan Dreyer joined NBC News as a weather anchor in 2012 and has been with the network since. She previously worked in Boston at a local news station and is originally from Manalapan Township, New Jersey.
