Guildford’s Stoke Park is gearing up to host the long-awaited revival of the family-friendly music festival, GuilFest, after a decade-long hiatus.

Scheduled for the weekend of June 29th and 30th, the event promises to live up to its previous iterations, featuring an impressive lineup of musical talent.

Former Eurovision runner-up and singer songwriter Sam Ryder will headline the final night, which will certainly draw a crowd.

Ryder became an instant icon when he represented the UK with the song Space Man in the 2022 Eurovision song contest, scoring the UK its best result since 1998 and its first top three since 2002.

Kicking off the festivities on Saturday, legendary punk icons The Stranglers, hailing from Guildford itself, will take center stage as the headline act.

Celebrating their 50th anniversary with a tour, the band’s return to their hometown is sure to be a highlight of the festival.

According to festival organizer Tony Scott, GuilFest’s revival is a long time coming.

‘We’ve been waiting a long time to get the show on the road again,’ Scott remarked, ‘and everything has come together for 2024.’

The festival is specifically catered to families with children, offering half price tickets for kids under 18 and free admission for children under five.
