Vicky Pattison married Ercan Ramadan last year after dating for five years – but one thing wasn’t accurate in reports about their marriage.
The Geordie Shore star and Strictly star, 38, claims publications assumed her husband, 32, was a lot older than he is.
In a podcast episode of Get A Grip, which she hosts alongside Angela Scanlon, Vicky says she’s chosen to never correct her husband’s reported age, until now…
She explains to Angela: ‘The press got a hold of us dating, obviously, and in their head, it was just so f**king alien that a 31-year-old woman would go out with a 25-year-old man.’

‘What?’, Angela exclaims.
Vicky went on: ‘So they were like: “He mustn’t be 25, he must be 35, right?”
‘I’ve never f**king told them they’ve got it wrong.
‘So now, they think he’s 42.’
Vicky and Angela cackled as they sat on their sofa, before revealing how Ercan feels about all this.
‘He is fuming, they’ll be like “Vicky Pattison who married her long-term fiancé Ercan Ramadan, 42, in a ceremony in Puglia”‘.
The pair officially tied the knot at Marylebone Town Hall in August 2024, after getting engaged in 2022.
A second wedding ceremony was held in Puglia, Italy, and broadcast in a Channel 4 documentary called Vicky Pattison: My Big Fat Geordie Wedding.
Vicky went on in the podcast: ‘He’s like: “Will you just fucking tell them?” And I’m like: “Nah”‘.
Angela commented on the video of them talking on the podcast. She joked: ‘Wicked bit of kit for 54’.
Ercan also chimed in: ‘Taking liberties now. Tell them my real age god dammit hahaha’.
Another user, @bedheadboutique, praised Vicky for refusing to reveal the truth: ‘Sorry but this is pure genius on Vicky’s part!
‘I’d do exactly the same!’
Since marrying Ercan, Vicky has been busy -most recently as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
She’s paired up with Kai Widdrington, who also has Geordie roots. His footballer Dad, Tommy Widdrington, was born in Vicky’s hometown Newcastle.
The dancing duo were placed bottom of the leaderboard alongside Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon in the judges’ scores after this week’s show.
Strictly Come Dancing results show airs tonight at 7.15pm on BBC One.
