It’s been nine long months since WWE fans in Europe were treated to a premium live event, but Clash In Italy is almost here.
Fresh off the back of last weekend’s thrilling Saturday Night’s Main Event special, the company is wasting no time with another massive show, this time a historic first-ever PLE in Italy.
Turin is all set and looking to impress in the same way cities like Berlin, Lyon, London, Cardiff and Paris have over the past few years, and they’ve got a card worthy of WrestleMania to look forward to.
Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar and Rhea Ripley versus Jade Cargill were both fantastic bouts in Las Vegas last month, and anticipation for another round of each is building.
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will both be in action defending their respective world titles, while rising star Sol Ruca finally gets her first shot at gold on Raw.

Is WrestleMania coming to London?
Metro’s WWE expert Alistair McGeorge weighs in on the chances of WrestleMania in Europe.
The idea of WrestleMania coming to Europe always becomes a bit of a debate when WWE brings other live events over this way.
It seemed like it could be a possibility after 2022’s Clash At The Castle in Cardiff, and the following year’s Money In The Bank in London really got people excited for the idea.
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has made it clear he wants events of that scale in the capital, but it’s unclear if the city would pay the amount of money WWE typically receives for holding these huge events.
There were recent reports that Ireland could be in the running, with Dublin as an obvious choice, but it’s hard to imagine WWE holding its first European WrestleMania in a city yet to get its own PLE.
Next year, the iconic show is scheduled for Saudi Arabia, with no announcements set for the 2028 edition, although there have been murmurings of somewhere like Nashville.
Honestly, it pains me to say it as someone living in Manchester, but I don’t think the UK will host the first Mania in Europe.
There doesn’t seem, on the outside, to be much progress or any reports about London hosting it, but honestly, the mainland European crowds have overtaken the Brits in recent years.
Clash At The Castle in Cardiff and Glasgow were special (especially the former), and the UK always brings it, don’t get me wrong.
But having been in Lyon for that iconic Backlash 2024 crowd and Bash In Berlin later that summer, there has been something special about those crowds.
After seeing how Clash In Paris went down in August 2025, (this is pure speculation), I wouldn’t be surprised if WWE was more tempted by WrestleMania in France, given the enthusiasm in recent years.
Cardiff’s Principality feels like the best-placed UK stadium for the job, though, so we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed for 2028, 2029 and beyond.
