Their close friendship in Osbourneâs final years was something fans loved to see, and Yungblud paid his final respects to the rock legend on Thursday, July 31, when he posted a photo on Instagram of the cross that he holds so dear.
âGoodnight oz your light will forever shine. I love you,â he captioned the photo of himself holding the cross in his hands.

Following the familyâs statement on Instagram on July 22 about Osbourneâs death, tributes began pouring in. Yungblud was one of the first to react, and he penned a heartbreaking message on Instagram.
The musician shared a photo of himself kneeling next to Osbourne, who is in a wheelchair. In the caption, he shared his thoughts. âI didnât think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room. But as it is written with legends, they seem to know the things that we donât,â he wrote.
Yungblud continued, âI will never forget you – you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage. Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own. You asked me once if there was anything you could do for me and as I said then and as I will say now for all of us the music was enough. You took us on your adventure – an adventure that started it all. I am truly heartbroken. You were the greatest of all time.â
