Zayn Malik has cancelled all his 2026 US tour dates, weeks after he was hospitalised for an unspecified illness.

The former One Direction star is touring globally with his new album Konnakol. Upcoming dates for his UK and Mexico concerts in May and June are still for sale on his website.

But his US leg, which was due to begin in July at the Xfininity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, has been cancelled, as well as shows in Dublin and Birmingham.

In a post on his Instagram story, Zayn wrote: ‘To my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health.

‘I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world. I’ve been at home recovering and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before.

‘I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour.

‘I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can.

‘I’m really looking forward to playing these shows for you, and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon. Big Love, Z.’

Details about his illness have not been disclosed.

Zayn, 33, linked through to his website on his Instagram story. There, an update reads: ‘The updated KONNAKOL Tour 2026 schedule below reflects recent changes to the U.S. and European dates.

‘All current tickets will remain valid for the new Manchester date.

‘For other shows, if you purchased through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically. If you purchased from a third-party reseller (StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats, etc.), please reach out to your point of purchase.’

Fans online have already begun reacting to the news of Zayn’s cancelled dates.

Under a thread on Reddit, EyesOfEmeraldGreen commented: ‘Zayn cancelling a tour? Groundbreaking.’

The star has cancelled high-profile appearances and gigs in the past, including Capital’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium.

He has spoken publicly about suffering with anxiety and how it has resulted in him cancelling events, but some fans remain upset.

White Latter_Witness6597 said: ‘Some people just aren’t made for touring and that’s okay. Though I know that is where the money is these days.’
