One person was killed overnight in a Denver shooting near Coors Field, police said.
The Denver Police Department first posted about the shooting in the 2200 block of Blake Street on social media at 12:21 a.m. Sunday. That’s just outside of Coors Field, near the intersection of Blake and 22nd Street.
Paramedics took one shooting victim to the hospital, where the victim later died, police said in an 8:26 a.m. update.
Information about the circumstances leading up to the shooting and if any suspects have been identified was not available Sunday morning.
