An 18-year-old man was charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Humboldt Park last month, Chicago police said.
Evan Reich was arrested Friday in West Ridge and charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
Police say Reich was one of the people involved in the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Jailene Cepeda on Sept. 13 in the 3400 block of West Wabansia Avenue.
Cepeda suffered a gunshot would to the head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said at the time.
Reich will make his first court appearance Sunday.
