Just days after the end of another thrilling NCAA Tournament, the 2025 WNBA Draft will be held Monday night at The Shed in New York City. The game’s top young stars, including Paige Bueckers, Kiki Iriafen, Aneesah Morrow and Hailey Van Lith, are expected to find out where they will begin their professional careers after stellar runs at the college level.
The Dallas Wings have the No. 1 overall pick and will likely to use it on Bueckers, who led UConn to the national championship in her senior season. She’ll get to team up in a star-studded backcourt with four-time All-Star Arike Ogunbowale, who finished second in the WNBA in scoring last season behind league MVP A’Ja Wilson.
The Seattle Storm hold the No. 2 pick, then the Washington Mystics hold picks No. 3 and No. 4 before the expansion Golden State Valkyries round out the top five. The Chicago Sky have two first-round picks, at No. 10 and No. 11, after a series of trades over the last year.
The most recent AP mock draft had the Sky taking Van Lith and Notre Dame’s Maddy Westbeld.
