Four people were shot in Bronzeville Thursday evening, according to Chicago police.
It occurred in the 5100 block of South Calumet Avenue at 9:01 p.m., when a black vehicle pulled alongside a large group and a passenger in the vehicle fired into the crowd, police said. The car then left the scene, headed east on 51st Street.
Two victims, ages 54 and 44, were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said. A 35-year-old man and 34-year-old man were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
Chicago police confirmed late Thursday that officers were at the scene. No one is in custody.
