Aurora investigators are searching for leads in a house party shooting that killed a 35-year-old man three years ago, according to the police department.
Officers responded at about 5 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, to reports of a shooting at a house party in the 1500 block of Dallas Street, near East Colfax Avenue, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department.
When Aurora officers arrived, they found a man had been shot, police said.
The shooting victim, identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office as 35-year-old Jose Alberto Bautista-Marquez, died from his injuries at the crime scene, police said.
More than three years later, no suspects have been publicly identified or arrested.
