A man was killed and another wounded in a shooting in Back of the Yards on Sunday night, Chicago police said.
The men, ages 69 and 51, were leaving a business in the 5400 block of South Damen Avenue at 8:05 p.m. when three people got out of a dark sedan and fired shots, police said. The 69-year-old man was shot in the chest and back and died at the scene.
The 51-year-old man was shot in the left leg and buttocks and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition, police said.
No one is in custody.
