A 15-year-old boy was found fatally shot early Wednesday in Austin on the West Side.
Just after 1 a.m., officers and paramedics responded to a call of a person shot in the 4600 block of West Jackson Boulevard, and the boy was found shot in his head, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Area 4 detectives were investigating.
