Boy, 16, among three charged with attempted arson of Persian media firm in London
A lit container was allegedly thrown at Volant Media, a Persian media organisation in Wembley on Wednesday
Two men and a teenage boy have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life after an attempted attack in north west London.
Oisin McGuinness, 21, Nathan Dunn, 19, and a 16-year-old boy have been charged after a lit container was allegedly thrown at Volant Media, a Persian media organisation in Wembley on Wednesday.
The container landed in a car park where the fire extinguished itself before the suspects fled in a black SUV.
Officers gave chase before the SUV crashed in Ballards Lane in Finchley.
All three inside were arrested.
The incident is not being treated as a terrorist incident, but is being investigated by Counter Terror Police.
It is not being linked to recent arson incidents at ambulances in Golders Green or a synagogue in Finchley.
But the Met said it was aware Iran-linked Islamist group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia is claiming responsibility for the attacks.
