A teenage boy was shot and killed inside an Archer Heights business Sunday, police said.
Rodrigo Franco, 17, was inside a Wendy’s at 4000 S. Pulaski Rd. when a man in a Jeep fired shots about 7 p.m., according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Franco was shot in the head and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died.
The driver of the Jeep fled the scene, and no one is in custody. Detectives are investigating.
